Tanzanian music star Zuhura Othman Soud, popularly known as Zuchu, has confirmed her long-rumored union with Diamond Platnumz—but in her signature subtle fashion.
The Sukari hitmaker stunned fans by quietly changing her social media profiles to reflect a new title: “Mrs Nasibu”—a direct reference to Diamond’s real name, Nasibu Abdul Juma.
The soft reveal follows months of speculation and comes days after Diamond hinted he had tied the knot in a private Islamic ceremony. According to insiders, the wedding took place around four months ago, though both stars had opted to keep it under wraps.
An undated video has also surfaced, showing Zuchu gushing about her marriage in Swahili, “Mume wangu, tumeoana” (“My husband, we are married”).
Confirmations from the Family
The low-key ceremony was confirmed by Diamond’s mother, Mama Dangote, who posted on social media:
“Alhamdulillah, it went well. Congratulations, my son Naseeb and your wife Zuhura.”
His sister Esma Platnumz also congratulated the couple, putting to rest months of whispers surrounding their on-and-off relationship.
One touching moment from the event showed Diamond placing his hand on Zuchu’s head, a traditional act symbolizing spiritual acceptance in Muslim weddings. In another candid clip, Zuchu beams in a car, declaring, “We are married!”
