Diamond Platnumz hinted that his girlfriend Zuchu is pregnant and will be giving birth in January. He announced this by saying he would release songs throughout the year until the time she will be going to labour.
"Nasemaje, ndio kwanza tumeanza, yaani mashabiki wanakula raha kuanzia July 2023 hadi January 2024 mchumba anapoenda kujifungua.".

Well, Zuchu has refuted the claims saying she is not pregnant for the singer and that she isn't ready for that at the moment.
"To be honest with you, I'm not planning to get a child right now. I feel like I need to do a lot of things. One of the best things I want to do to myself is to get married so that I get kids. I want to get married. I feel like single mothers are very stroy, raising a kid on your own is hardwork, if you are in the middle of a career like mine, you can find your child being raised carelessly. I want have a baby when settled and be there for them."
She gave an example of her mother, legendary Taarab singer Khadija Kopa, who was almost never home when she was growing up.
"I was raised by a mother who is also in the music industry, I used to see her five times a year, we were in Zanzibar. She was trying to do the best so that we can eat"
The singer added that she wants two kids and would only get them in wedlock.
"Ndoa ni kama kifo, haupangi, anayepanga ni Mwenyezi Mungu. I don't see it right now."
