Journalist Mary Kilobi celebrated her husband, Central Organisation of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary-General Francis Atwoli, on his 74th birthday in Geneva, Switzerland.
Atwoli was in Geneva for the International Labour Conference (ILC), where he was unanimously elected as the Vice Chairperson of the Workers' Group.
Kilobi, who accompanied him, took to social media to wish her husband a happy birthday.
"Today is My Prince Charming's Birthday. May you grow younger, yes younger and more younger everyday Franco. I wish you happiness and an extremely long life of good health and pure bliss. May God watch over you and divinely protect you with his blood from the Evil one and may He fight your all your battles fiercely! Happy birthday my Bazuu Bazenga!❤️" Kilobi wrote.
Atwoli has previously praised his wife for taking care of him, saying that she ensures he dresses smartly, takes his medicine, and makes his flight bookings.
"Mimi si kijana ata mkiona bibi yangu Mary ni m-young. Mary kazi yake ni kuona socks iko namna gani, shati yangu ni safi. Saa ya kumeza dawa imefika sababu siweziandika mfanyi kazi. Yeye ndo anaangalia saa yangu ya ndege imefika, passport yangu iko namna gani," he said.
Atwoli and Kilobi have been married since 2018. They have a 2-year-old son together.
