Baba Talisha, a prominent figure on TikTok, organized a fundraiser that amassed KSh 8 million for Brian Chira's family. During a live TikTok session, he transparently outlined how a portion of the funds was utilized.

Out of the total amount, Baba T disclosed that KSh 1.2 million was expended, with the remainder securely stored. He ensured accountability by presenting bank statements from Equity Bank and M-Pesa to his followers, fulfilling his promise to demonstrate the funds' allocation.

The breakdown of expenses for Chira's funeral included KSh 60,000 for transportation and a significant portion for catering. "We spent KSh 498,125 on various food items, initially budgeted for 600-700 people, but due to increased attendance, additional provisions were necessary," Baba Talisha explained. Additionally, a deposit of KSh 105,000 was made to Altar Funeral Services, with an additional KSh 29,000 to settle outstanding balances.

Acknowledging vendors' claims for damages incurred during the ceremony, Baba T disclosed that after settling debts, the remaining balance stood at KSh 7.2 million.
