Lucy Wambui Ng'ang’a Laid to Rest at Family Farm in Limuru After Tragic Passing

05, Nov 2024 / 2 min read / By Livenow Africa

The late Lucy Wambui Ng'ang’a, wife of businessman Francis Ng'ang’a, was laid to rest today at her family’s farm in Limuru. Her son, Brian Ng'ang’a, shared the details on Instagram, announcing that her final resting place would be in Red Hill, Limuru, surrounded by family and close friends.

A memorial mass for Wambui was held on October 31 at St. Austin’s Catholic Church in Msongari, where loved ones gathered in her honor. Brian’s heartfelt post read, “Tomorrow we lay our mommy to rest. In loving memory of Lucy Wambui Ng'ang'a.”

Lucy’s tragic death followed a cosmetic surgery procedure, which her husband Francis Ng'ang’a described as leading to painful complications. In an emotional interview with Citizen TV, Ng'ang’a blamed the clinic, Body By Design, for his wife’s suffering and untimely death. He recounted disturbing details, stating that Lucy was sent home despite being in critical condition, after which the clinic reportedly closed its doors.

Ng'ang’a expressed his deep frustration, saying, “She had been pricked so many times her body had wounds all over. She was even excreting through some of them and smelled terribly. When I asked, they assured me it was part of the healing. But when they saw she was worsening, they told her to go home and then shut down the clinic.”
